Welcome to Restaurant Ebisu

Japan, 〒036-8102 Aomori, Hirosaki, Sanpinai, 4 Chome−6−1

General Info

Tucked away in Aomori’s Hirosaki area, Restaurant Ebisu is one of those places that quietly wins you over the moment you step inside. It’s a classic syokudo and teishoku restaurant, which means you can expect a comforting mix of everyday Japanese meals served in a relaxed, no-fuss setting. The atmosphere feels welcoming whether you’re stopping by alone for a quick bite or arriving with a group looking to share a satisfying meal.

The menu is where this spot really shines. One of the standout dishes I tried was the 五目ラーメンのエビ, a rich and hearty ramen loaded with shrimp and a variety of toppings that give it depth and texture. Right alongside it, the 五目あんかけラーメン offers a thicker, savory sauce that clings perfectly to the noodles. If you’re watching your budget but still want something filling, the あんかけ 五目 ラーメン 700 円 is surprisingly generous and doesn’t compromise on flavor.

For something more indulgent, the カツ丼 is a must. The crispy pork cutlet paired with soft egg over rice hits that perfect balance of crunchy and comforting. On warmer days, I noticed many diners opting for 冷やし中華, a refreshing cold noodle dish that’s light yet still satisfying. It’s the kind of variety that makes you want to come back just to try something new each time.

Service here is simple but reliable. Table service is attentive without being intrusive, and the staff keeps things moving efficiently even during busier hours. I also appreciated that the restaurant offers delivery, making it easy to enjoy their dishes at home. The space itself is designed to accommodate different needs, with wheelchair accessible seating and enough room for groups without feeling cramped.

What stood out most during my visit was how easy it felt to settle in. Whether you’re dining solo or catching up with friends, the environment feels natural and unpretentious. Reviews from locals often mention the consistency, and after experiencing it firsthand, it’s clear why. The combination of a well-rounded menu, accessible location, and thoughtful service makes this diner a dependable choice when exploring Hirosaki’s food scene.

What customers say?

“ It seems like the number of menu items has been reduced (;o;) The restaurant's raised tatami room is not in use, and there is only one table and five seats at the counter (;_;) ”

- 飯田おさるさん -

“ I went there because I wanted to try the katsudon and gomoku ankake ramen, and it was a big hit! It seems to be crowded at lunchtime. There are about 3-4 parking spaces in front of the store, and there seems to be some behind the store. ”

- ヤギエナガ -

“ I had the Gomoku Ramen. It was soy sauce ramen topped with a sweet Gomoku bean paste and was packed with ingredients like Chinese cabbage, carrots, bamboo shoots, pork, ham, quail eggs, and shrimp. Some people will probably like it, but if you can't handle sweet bean paste, be warned that it's too much for you. They also had set meals, curry, ramen, and Zaru Soba noodles. ”

- ふじいひろし -

“ We have a wide variety of menu items, from noodles to set meals. Make sure to try our specialty, Gomoku Ramen. ”

- ねりりん親方 -

“ The mixed vegetable ramen was sweet and delicious. I tried other dishes a few times and they were all delicious. They have a tatami room so it seems like a good place to bring children. It was lunchtime so there were a lot of office workers there, but the parking lot is a little small compared to the number of seats. ”

“ My top pick: Gomoku Ramen Sweet seafood broth. It's delicious, but the large portion might get a little boring. ”

“ This is my second visit to this restaurant, about 10 years ago. I remember having a katsudon (pork cutlet rice bowl) and a beer the last time I came. Their mixed vegetable ramen has been popular lately, so I decided to stop by. The sweet and salty soup is packed with ingredients and has an addictive flavor, and it pairs well with the thin noodles. The menu also includes a wide variety of other items, such as pork fillet cutlet set meals, tempura set meals, fried shrimp set meals, yakiniku set meals, homemade hamburger steak set meals, curry, rice bowls, and noodles. The restaurant has five tatami rooms, three counter seats, and one table. There is parking for five cars in front of the restaurant. ”

- もとグルメ -

“ The Gomoku Ramen had a sweet taste and was delicious. The restaurant isn't new, but it's well-kept and you can stay there for a while. I hope this kind of restaurant continues for a long time. ”
